Moss Is a nuisance, it will continue to fall into guttering causing blockages. Removing moss from roofs is important to ensure that water can drain properly .Roof Tiles can become porous if moss overgrows which allows rainwater to infiltrate the material. Moisture can Damage tiles at low temperatures . Cracks due to moss and dirt also increase the possibility of a leak in the roof.

We firstly scrape the excess moss from the tiles using specialist scrapers with different profile blades, to fit each and every tile. Once we have removed the worst of the moss there may still be some stubborn spores in the cracks - but not to worry , the Biocide treatment we apply will kill this off in the following weeks.

Now the roof has been treated with a professional grade Biocide treatment all that’s left to do is let Mother Nature do her job. The biocide will continue to clean the roof of Moss, Algae and Lichen over a period of Weeks and Months eventually restoring the colour of the tiles. Eventually leaving the tiles “Like new” for a fraction of the cost.

The Biocide will Keep the roof clean for up to 5 years before the Treatment will need to be re-applied.

We never use Pressure washers to clean roofs. The biocide Treatment is simply sprayed on and rubbed into the tiles and left to its job.
